What is Invisalign®?
Invisalign® is a way of discreetly straightening your teeth. A series of customised plastic trays made of a proprietary material is worn 22 hours a day. Each sequential aligner moves the teeth gently, resulting in significant changes at the end of your Invisalign journey.
It is virtually invisible and may provide benefits in various circumstances over traditional braces. At Syndal Dentistry, we incorporate the latest technology to help you achieve your ideal smile.

Why choose Invisalign® or Clear Aligners?
Invisalign aligners are clear, so they are virtually invisible! Most people won’t even notice you are wearing Invisalign, so it is perfect in almost all settings. You can go about your day feeling yourself!
Invisalign aligners are usually a lot more comfortable to wear than traditional metal braces, especially as there are no sharp brackets or wires that can cut your mouth.
They are also easily removed so that you can eat lunch, drink coffee, but then still be able to brush, and more importantly, floss!
Wearing your Invisalign aligners 22 hours a day will help correct quite a number of dental malocclusions such as crowding, gaps or spaces, open bite, overbite and underbites.
Payment Plans and Costs
As everyone has a unique set of teeth, the cost of Invisalign treatment near Doncaster may vary from patient to patient. Your Invisalign accredited dentist will inform you of the type of Invisalign braces you are eligible for, as well as the total cost of your treatment.
The cost of Invisalign is determined primarily by the number of aligners required to correct your teeth. If your teeth are more crowded, you may need more aligners, and the treatment period will be longer. In the case of minor corrections, the duration would be shorter and fewer aligners would be required.
At Syndal Dentistry, we understand that cost is an important consideration, which is why we offer flexible Invisalign treatment payment plans. Once you've decided on a payment plan, we process your application during your appointment, and your dentist will walk you through the process.
Your Invisalign® Journey in 5 Steps
Your Invisalign journey begins with a consultation, in which we examine your smile and discuss your treatment needs and goals. Your Invisalign accredited dentist will also discuss what Invisalign can achieve for you, and will outline the treatment duration and costs.
During the appointment, your dentist will take photographs with a DSLR camera, along with a 3D scan of your teeth using an intraoral scanner to generate a 3D simulation of the expected movement of your teeth throughout your treatment. This appointment is also an opportunity to give feedback on the simulation, and changes can be made to the smile design until both you and your dentist are satisfied with the expected outcome. Once you’re ready to proceed, we approve the plan to begin manufacturing your customised Invisalign aligners .
Your first custom set of Invisalign aligners will arrive approximately 2 weeks after approving the ClinCheck plan. Your dentist will ensure that your aligners fit perfectly and will give you all the information you need to wear and look after your aligners. You will need to wear each aligner one to two weeks at a time as prescribed.
From there, your dentist will see you every month to track your progress and provide you with the next series of Invisalign aligners. These monthly visits are designed to give you the support you need, and address any concerns, and adjust your personalised treatment if needed.
After completing your Invisalign treatment, we need to ensure that your perfectly straight teeth do not move. Teeth often want to move back to their original positions, so we provide you with retainers. You need to wear your retainers regularly to preserve your new smile.
To give your smile that extra sparkle, we also provide complimentary teeth whitening treatment. We also strongly recommend that you have regular 6 monthly check-ups and cleans with your dentist to make sure your smile stays healthy.
